FACILITY RULES:

BE AWARE of
your surroundings – Others may not be. Batted/thrown/kicked balls
may enter the cage or spectator area from other areas.
¨
Abusing or
defacing equipment and/or facility or using profane or abusive
language, will result in immediate removal from the premises.
¨
NO
cigarettes, chewing tobacco, or sunflower seeds in the facility.
¨
Tennis
Shoes or Indoor Sport shoes only, NO turf Shoes or Cleats allowed,
Only Closed-toe/heel shoes only!
No flip flops, sandals, crocks, metal spikes, water shoes, clogs, or
any other open-toed shoes or open-heeled shoes allowed!
¨
No climbing
on nets, hanging on goals and/or inappropriate use of facility will
be permitted.
¨
Please
report all accidents immediately.
Failure to comply with these rules will result in the revocation of
authorization to use the LakeSide Sports Center Facilities.

BATTING CAGE RULES:
¨
Use of the
Batting Cage is restricted to those who have registered with
LakeSide Sports Center and are authorized to use the batting cage
pitching machines. Batting cage users must sign in at reception
each time used and must follow the instructions and conditions for
usage contained within use agreement.
¨
Any person
using the Batting Cage who is under fifteen (15) years of age must
be supervised by a parent/guardian who has registered with LakeSide
Sports Center and is authorized to use the Batting Cage.
¨
Tennis
Shoes or Indoor Sport shoes only, NO turf Shoes or Cleats allowed,
Only Closed-toe/heel shoes only!
No flip flops, sandals, crocks, metal spikes, water shoes, clogs, or
any other open-toed shoes or open-heeled shoes allowed!
¨
Aluminum bats approved for use by standard baseball / softball
leagues only, wooden bats are not permitted.
¨
Must use LakeSide Sports provided batting cage balls (dimpled)
only. No use of standard baseballs is allowed in batting cages
(though allowed in pitching cage).
¨
Batters
must wear “double ear” helmets when hitting. A helmet face
guard is recommended.
¨
Only one
(1) person allowed in hitting area of the cage at a time while the
machine is pitching. One (1) additional person may operate the
pitching machine.
¨
The
operator of the pitching machine must remain behind the protective
screen when the pitching machine is operating.
BASEBALL OPEN FIELD USE
RULES:
¨
Use of the
baseball open field is restricted to those who have registered with
LakeSide Sports Center and are authorized to use.
¨
Use of the
field is restricted to teams of which must have a registered coach
supervisor on the field at all times.
¨
Tennis
Shoes or Indoor Sport shoes only, NO turf Shoes or Cleats allowed,
Only Closed-toe/heel shoes only!
No flip flops, sandals, crocks, metal spikes, water shoes, clogs, or
any other open-toed shoes or open-heeled shoes allowed!
¨
Must use LakeSide Sports provided baseballs only.
¨
Fielding training must use Incrediballs only!
¨
Players
provide their own Gloves (Mitts) and Batting Helmets (official
approved LL), and other protective equipment.
